Keeping Secrets

Created and performed by Jim Vetter

Keeping Secrets is an engaging, moving, and hopeful one-person show that explores the links between what magicians do and what child sexual abusers do. Based on actual events in the Boston area from the 1970s to today, this unusual performance combines acting, visuals, and a magic trick or two. The show explores how the secrets we keep can be powerful in both positive and destructive ways, and how traumatic experiences can be transformed into positive action.
